Recently, I acquired a copy of Stations of the Cross for Kids by Regina Doman and illustrated by Chris Lewis. Now that Lent is upon us, it is a timely book to review, especially if yours is a family that attends the Stations of the Cross at church.
I have read a few children’s books that deal with anger, but The Monks Make Amends by Sylvia Dorham, illustrated by Christopher Tupa, has been my favorite so far.
Time for Christmas books! I’ve been waiting all year to share A Child’s Christmas ABC Book: Angels in the Air Arrayed, having received it last Christmas, and really admiring it. It was written by Paul Thigpen, and beautifully illustrated by John Folley.
Today, October 9th, is the feast day of Our Lady of Good Help. It was she who appeared to a young Belgian immigrant girl named Adele Brise, in 1859, in Champion, WI.
